June Trading Recap: My Best Month By Over 200%

Screenshot Whole Month of June

Like a red to green breakout, I left the month of May red and gapped up the last 2 weeks of June for my most profitable month since I started getting my feet wet in February.

Compared to my previous most profitable month (April), I made 218.407% more profit this month.

Now that things are starting to work and I understand why they are working, I need to double down on my studies and trading rules.

Let’s dive into the changes I made this month that I think are the catalysts for my best month.

Week of June 21, 2021: On Track for My Best Month

I started the week off on Sunday the 20th, reviewing my past trades, charts, and a couple of study materials to prepare for the coming week.

While reviewing my trades, I realized that I reduced my avg % loss by a couple of percentage points. So it’s great to see that I’m off to a great start sticking to my trading plans.

In addition to reviewing my trades, I also created my first independent watchlist for Monday morning and the early afternoon.

What was awesome it that my watchlist ended up containing many of the same tickers Bohen, Sykes, and Kellog had.

Before I called it a night that Sunday, I watched the latest STT video on youtube with Tim Grittani, going over his 2 favorite custom screeners.

Back to a Solid Schedule: How May Wrapped Up and How June is Going

TRCH Entry and Exit Chart 6.15 and 16

Man o’ man, where has the time gone!? It’s been about a month since I made my last post.

To those of you that were expecting a weekly trading blog but stuck around during my gap, thank you so much!

My schedule got a little crazy for a few weeks due to summer being here, but I’ve managed to get my schedule changed to guarantee me a couple of hours in the morning to trade on Monday and Friday.

Of course, if I have any gaps in my day, I will try to get in front of some charts. If I can’t actively watch the market, I’ll grow the knowledge account through books and videos.

Alright, let’s jump into how I wrapped up in May 2021.

May 10-14 Trades: First of Many Bad Weeks

$PMBY chart

The week started without any trades in the books.  I missed a great double bottom breakout shortly before 2 pm with a nice 20% gain with the ticker $GGII

After vowing not to miss another great setup, I was late to the game on a beautiful breakout with $GGII the following day, the 11th.

My goal during my entry was to make a quick 10% and get out. Since I kept hesitating, I knew that it probably would not be long before a downtrend if I did get in.

Trading Weeks 4/26-5/7 Biggest Gain Followed by Biggest Loss

$BPSR Chart April 28

Monday, I started the day using my screener and watching some of the biggest % gainers but made no moves. Focused on growing the knowledge account

On the following day, Tuesday, I was focused on watching moves made by $RETC and $PJET.

$RETC had a huge spike the previous day around 9:45, and it spiked again between 3 and 4 pm. I planned to go for a morning spike play.

Trading Week of April 4-9/2021

My goal for this week was to break into paper trading to increase my confidence with trades and learn by making mistakes, which for me, is the best way to learn.

The first two days of the week, I had a full schedule at my day job, so I could not participate in any trades or chart watching.

$AZFL Entrance and Exit

The first paper trade that I made this week was with the ticker $AZFL. On April 7th, the stock climbed from 0.0062 at the open to 0.0073 in about 10 minutes.

Paper Trading? But, I Want That Money NOW

If you’re anything like me, you’ve spent years watching opportunities in various markets pass you by because you didn’t have the money to make money.

You may have also decided that this year, it won’t happen again. So this time, when you heard the hype, you didn’t just listen to it happen. You decided to do something about it and tried to catch the wave only to find you made a mistake and quickly went into the red.

Trading Week of March 18-19/2021

This week went by fast! I only made one trade this week, and I only watched the market longer than 15 mins 3/5 days this week. My morning hours at my regular job have thankfully picked up, but that also means I’ll have fewer opportunities to trade in the morning/early afternoon and some full days altogether. That just means I’ll have more time in the aftermarket to study and prepare for the days when I do not go in to work until noonish.

IMTL: On 3/15, about ten to fifteen minutes before 10am EST, I watched the ticker dip down to the mid .0090’s, but I was too nervous about pulling the trigger and missed my opportunity before it started to climb again. There were more opportunities to trade this over the next couple of hours that day, but I had to work, so I was unable to participate. I do not mind when this happens because I am still very new to trading, so my lack of time keeps me from over-trading and will force me to wait for the pattern to come to me.

Trading Week of March 8-12/2021

Started the week off continuing to sell the OTC’s that I have been “holding and hoping” since I jumped into penny stock trading in Feb.

BONZ: I entered this stock on 2/17 in the hopes that it would get sympathy gains from the other gold mineral stocks in the market. However, that was my only plan and that’s a huge mistake. So without an exit plan, I watched the stock go down for 2 days then have a nice bounce that I watched happen and did nothing because I was greedy and nieve thinking it would climb much higher. After a few weeks of it dropping further, I finally cut my losses and sold my shares. Took a loss of -54.26%. That is unacceptable moving forward. Verified trade here: https://profit.ly/1N4AnW
